Students completed this in class graphing project as a review before our chapter test. I used this with my 6th graders, but it can easily be adapted up or down depending on the grade level you teach. Students had to find examples in magazines, newspapers or online of bar graphs, line graphs and circle graphs. They brought them in and glued each individual graph onto the graphic organizer.

They then had to work with a partner to write a few sentences describing the data that was displayed in the graph. Students also had to list the source of the graph. Students got to share their graphs with their cooperative learning groups.
